Event organizer refers to the Indian Navy and participants refer to people enrolling in Kochi Navy Cyclothon 2026.
Any event that is beyond the control of the Event Organizer including acts of God like a storm, rain, inclement weather, etc., or any other event caused due to health or safety reasons shall be called a “Force Majeure Event”.
6 . The participant acknowledges and agrees that their participation in the event is voluntary and undertaken at their own risk. The participant further understands and accepts that the event may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, loss of life or limbs, or damage to personal property (such as cycles or belongings), arising from unforeseen circumstances or otherwise. The Indian Navy, its officers, sailors, employees or any other associated organisers shall not be held liable for any injury, loss of life or limbs, or harm caused to the participant, their property, or their legal heirs under any Section of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) or any other applicable law.
7. By registering for the event, the participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Indian Navy, its officers and all associated personnel or organisers from any legal claim, demand, or cause of action arising from their participation. This includes but is not limited to any claims for compensation under any law. The participant also waives their right, as well as the rights of their legal representatives/ heirs, to initiate any litigation, claim, or action against the Indian Navy, its officers, personnel, or organisers in connection with any injury, loss of life or limbs, or any damage sustained during the event.
